Make note, that is an Edge finder. When it lights/tones moving left to right make a mark, when the light turns off make a mark. The center between the marks is the center of the stud. That will save missed nails or sagging crown years down the road.

Unlike house that has hidden hinges they used cheap black hinges on the lower white cabinets. Very distracting to me! I didn't know how to change out. Until I saw this! Thanks so much!

When you use the first in the video get the sponge wet apply the water smooth side first to get the mud wet then flip to the rough side to knock down edges then back to the smooth side to finish .works well for me best of luck people!

How did you figure out the over lay with the outer hinges to know what new hinges you need?

I wound up buying a Kreg jig and some Blum hinges that snapped apart. Cool video though got me investigating.

What exactly is TRIM? Is it mdf? Wood strips? Ty

How did you choose new hindges?

I would add a piece of wood to fill in the space to make it look professional. Yeah nobody will know unless you are selling the home and someone sees it. It looks like an amature did it. If the top screws matched up, there is no need to keep the old hinge on.

Dude, youre supposed to use the rough side on a drywall sponge.. not wet the wall and try sanding it with paper?? Lol. Dial back that ego you all have and watch a few videos.
